Half day Resort Scuba Course (also known as discover scuba)includes lesson and ocean dive.
Perfect for the vacationer that would like to try scuba. Done in San Juan behind the Normandie Hotel. Morning course 9:30 am - 12:30 pm or afternoon course 2:30 pm - 5:30pm. Equipment rental $30. Advance reservations needed. This dive can be credited toward openwater certification if course is done within 6 months of dive.

To qualify for dive classes you must be at least 10 years old and know how to swim, and NOT suffer either from a heart disease or previous heart attack, diabetes, epilepsy or seizures, high blood pressure or taking medication to control blood pressure, presently taking prescription medicines ( with the exception of birth control), pregnancy, asthma or any form of lung disease, recent surgery, blackouts, sinus problems, fear of closed spaces, recurring migraine headaches, recurrent ear problems, and severe motion sickness. You must be able to carry 35-45 lbs. on your back.
